Flight training

TR R44

The training is intended for all those who want to obtain a type rating for the Robinson R44 helicopter.

Entry requirements

  • Valid PPL(H)

Theoretical part

The theoretical part consists of 8 hours of instruction, where the candidate is introduced to the systems and specifications of the R44 helicopter.

Practical part

Practical training consists of 5 hours of flight time. When the candidate learns to control the helicopter in different flight modes. Upon successful completion of the type rating, the candidate is issued with a certificate entitling him/her to take the skill test.
