CPL(A)

The CPL(A) training is intended for those who wish to fly for pay and perform aerial work. The CPL(A) entitles the holder to apply for a position with an airline. The holder has all the privileges of a PPL holder and may also act as PIC in commercial air transport.

Theoretical part

The theoretical part is accepted if the student has completed the ATPL theory, or may take the CPL theory directly.

Practical part

The length of the practical training depends on the student’s qualifications, the length of the training ranges between 15 and 30 hours of which at least 5 hours in a complex aircraft. If the student holds a NIGHT rating the training is reduced to 25 hours, if the student holds an IR rating the syllabus is reduced to 15 hours.
