A-UPRT FI

The aim of the FI Advanced UPRT course is to train flight instructors who will be able to provide A-UPRT students with an understanding of how to deal with the physiological and psychological aspects of entering unusual aircraft positions. They will also acquire the skills to be able to impart to A-UPRT students the necessary competencies and resilience to enable them to apply the correct techniques for selecting unusual aircraft attitudes.

Entry requirements

Theoretical part

Theoretical instruction consists of 5 hours of classes where the candidate is introduced to the Advanced UPRT instructional specifications

Practical part

The practical training consists of Advanced UPRT tasks which are tasks of practicing select the airplane at different angles of bank, practicing select spirals, stalls and undeveloped corkscrews. Time in training is determined by the instructor based on the candidate’s performance.
